Mining Employment Western Australia

Mining industry is currently at its boom in Australia. With a down fall in all the other sectors of the economy, the mining industry has become a center of attraction for investors. Australia being a leading producer of many earth materials and precious minerals is fast becoming a mining nation. There are many mines spread all over Australia and almost all mining companies are expanding their operations. There is already a shortage of workforce in the mining industry and with the current rate of expansion it is estimated that more than a hundred thousand employees will be required by Australian mining industry by the end of this decade.

There are many employment opportunities waiting for you in the Australian mining industry. Mines require all types of skilled and technical persons in civil, structural, technical, electrical and mechanical fields. There is a huge demand for geologists and environmentalists as well in the mining industry. In addition to the traditional mining employment, various day to day operations of mining camps require a large number of employees.

A role that does not require a great deal of experience in the mining industry is that of a Field assistant. A field assistant takes care of many duties around the mines. They are required from the time of exploration to the time mine is abandoned. Good entry level mining job.
